The Wall Street Journal reported in June 2004 that Asbury Park’s west end “amid vacant lots, sits the hulking steel skeleton of a condominium tower whose construction tower whose construction was halted by a developer’s bankruptcy more than a decade ago.”
Asbury Park can’t afford another failure—but apparently, they already did.
